i have been looking around for a string supressor. and i was on ebay and you know the typical 40yt to 50ty range. then poof $6.05 and i look at it and thinking it had to be something wrong there. but nope six dollars....like is it that bad of a suppresor or what? just getting a good deal. i really need a suppresor however. http://cgi.ebay.com/CSD-SLICK-CAMO-for-any-rear-mount-bow-String-Suppressor_W0QQitemZ290316948751QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item43983d150f&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A0%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50
IF that price holds, then you'd be ok I guess. I like to deal in known quality though. I have been buying Mean V Suppressors for a few years now. They are something like 44 bucks to your door in any camo you want. Great quality and service.
Ya its probably not really worth any more than what the current bid is at. i have been looking at the mean v suppresors as well also the STS string supprsors too.
I know a young man that ordered a cheaper STS from ebay and he had to replace the stopper within a week. And, it looks like crap - notice in the ebay listing it mentions that the sticker coating will be wrinkled. I ordeded a meanv from http://www.meanvarchery.com/index.html and it was top notch quality. Dan (owner) has become a reliable source of advice and solid products. Well worth the extra $.
A buddyof mine made some from replacement cable guard rods, I think it was the Saunders Z-Rod. He was really proud of them when he got done building them. It only cost him $14 for the rod and $5 for a stopper, for a total of $19. Within months he was replacing them with MeanV suppressors. Nine time out of ten you get exactly what you pay for, it doesn't make sense to pay twice.
