Are all the holes with the thumb screws threaded?

Not really sure, it isn't very heavy though 4-5lbs??

Edit: looks like #4 rebar (.5in) is 0.668 lbs per foot. There is 8 foot total used, 4ft for the main length and another 4 ft cut into 3 - 1ft sections and 2 - 6in sections So grand total of 5.344lbs not including the bracket which is aircraft grade aluminum and very light couple oz

Yes they are all threaded except on the hinge part, only the section farthest from the thumb screw head is threaded. It doesn't tighten by hand as well as I would like, but gets nice and tight with a pair of pliers... gonna have to tweak the design a bit lol

TG...you and I think alike...lol ...I make EVERYTHING I can myself ...I am taking a central vac canister, using the top as the bottom for the canister to sit on, using the canister to make a honey extractor and using the motor to power it ...all I need is a few pulleys and the right resistor :D

Great setup. I have a friend who works at a machine shop who also does welding on the side who likes deer hunting. Maybe I can talk him into building a couple of these contraptions--one for him, one for me. He got a trail cam for Christmas, last time I talked to him he hasn't even set it up yet.
