Alright, now I know cheap and trail cam should not be in the same sentence, but with that said, I am looking for a cheaper black flash camera that I can use mainly for surveillance on field roads leading to my hunting spots during gun season. I do not want to spend a lot for this reason. It may occasionally get used deep in public land as well but not sure on that.

    Any thoughts?

2nd the mp6black. easy to hide. I use a blackzip tie (two 8inch ones put together) instead of the big strap if I am trying to hide it good.

as of now ebay= Covert MP6 Black Trail Camera | eBay
    is the cheapest i see mp6blacks (125$shipped).

If you happen to get the mp6black. Some settings I would use is 5 second delay and 3 picture mode. I use that on my security camera. I want as many pictures of anything that moves in front of the camera.

Only one I know of is the mp6 black. Never really had the need for black flash so I agree with everyone else.

Primos Truthcam BlackOut? takes good enough pics to get a plate or face... I have 2 and they're alright for a cheap security cam.

How is mp6 black night pics? I am not very impressed with a lot of the night pictures I see of some covert cams on here.

also i like to angle my mp6blacks up a little. basically if you see the flash on the ground alot, move it higher to get the flash out there.
most of the time i mount mine waste high

Anyone have any experience with Spypoint cameras?

They have a ton of black flash cameras.

Depends on company. My covert took about 10 total days door to door.

I have 2 tiny' s and one of there best and they are awesome. The tiny's reach out and the newer tiny's have video. I haven't spooked any with any of my spypoint's..Night time still's are really good and I must say the night time video is respectable. If you need some video at night, email me and I'll send you some for reference.
