Tell me what arrows I should get for my son for his new bow for Christmas. These will be not be for hunting as he is only 6 years old. He is getting the Diamond Infinite Edge and will be shooting between 15-20 lbs DW and ~20" DL.

    Diamond Archery Infinite Edge Bow Package — Mossy Oak® Break-Up Infinity® : Cabela's

I just want some cheap arrows because he will be losing them and breaking them for sure. There has to be some value priced arrow that can get the job done for him.

Do you have the capability to cut arrows? I have just cleaned out my hunting room and have a "bunch" of arrows that I don't use anymore but I am sure they are too long for a youngster. They are a mix of GT Beamon and CE arrows. If you want them I will send them to you if you cover the shipping. I am in Mn so not too far away.

I just let them use my old arrows. I re-flected some really old ACC. LOL! That would be like a $200 set of arrows now. :) I would stay away from the fiberglass arrows. They are just to heavy and there isn't enough zing! I also cut the kids shafts down to something more releasable then 28". They are still long but not near as long as you would get with a kit bow.... I did buy my nephew 6 Gold Lightning arrow that were pre-fletched. They were around $5 each. He seemed to like them! I think I saw the bare shafts some where not to long ago for less then $4 if you fletch your own arrows.

Hand me downs are the best. That's what I use for my daughter. 1816's to be exact.

Maybe the Easton NASP endorsed arrows? The only downside to them is that they are aluminum, but they are $30 per 6. Hard to beat that.

I would just suggest a descent field point. I bought the cheap kids arrows from ****s and they were ok except the tips were to dull for the arrow to stick in the target. My son is 10 and shoots a longbow, poundage varies due to his draw length changing.
