I was looking to buy a couple more cameras to put up on my hunting ground but at the same time not spend a fortune. Anybody have any advice or experience with trail cameras that did not cost a lot but work well. Thanks!

Honestly look at the Scoutguard/Keepguards you can't beat battery life and they have a good reputation.

The scoutguard and trophy cams are identical cameras, just different cases. I think they are even produced at the same factory. They are definately great cameras. Have any of you scoutguard owners noticed any problems with moisture? I heard that their cases aren't water proof which usually isn't a problem since they open up on the bottom, but had read a review or two of people in very humid places where they have had problems. Also do you find it a problem at all having to bring the remote to program the camera? I have to say that the scoutguard cameras look a little better and seem like you could lock them to a tree easier.

Never had a moisture problem with mine, Wisconsin is not as humid as down south but I have run them for years w out issues.

The controller has never been an issue I have one with me most of the time. Once I set it out it is rare that I change the settings. I think the cameras I have and the trophy cams are made in the same property.
