Why has nobody called out Maxine’s us vs. them language.... Is it people vs. police, or black vs. white? I know the answer but would like to hear the media say it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Funny Maxine requested a police escort from MSP to the "rally" she was attending. Isn't that insanely hypocritical?
I bet the ink is already dry on the appeal. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Ex-Officer Chauvin Guilty of All 3 Charges in Death of George Floyd https://www.newsmax.com/newsfront/chauvin-floyd/2021/04/20/id/1018351/
I have no idea how they found any intent. Negligence yes...intent no. Unless they know something I didnt see.
Biden just blamed Chicago gang violence on systemic racism. Kids afraid to play in parks is systemic racism and a need for police reform? He's picking up where his previous administration left off, I'd almost bet he is using the same writer of his speeches that Obama used. Why can't we discuss how justice worked? The system may be flawed at times but in the vast majority of times it works and the deemed failure often comes at the hands of those leading the prosecution or defense and not the "system".
My guess on that, I did not watch the trial or follow it, is the video and where one of the prosecution experts depicted the final breath and life leaving Floyd. There was a couple minutes after that where Chauvin continued to hold him down with his knee even though he was no longer able to resist, so was not resisting any longer. I don't know where things go from here, and do not envy you in your line of work going on from here. I have no answers nor suggestions on how to get to where they are wanting us to be. They prosecuted the case defending the LEO's of the nation stating only a few are bad apples, yet at the same time those advocating reform link all LEO's to the same systemic racism claims. It's like they are saying "when we need a singular conviction we support the whole, but when we need a singular issue we convict the whole".
I hear you. He should have rendered immediate aid and had him on his side. Did he know he stopped breathing? I have no idea.
I really don't know, literally all I watched of the trial was a bit of closing arguments, mostly by the defense. There was a piece towards that to where it was said they(LEO's) thought he was passing out. I did not see any of the details on when they checked for and could not find a pulse. It's a damned shame all around. Aside from the justification to use lethal force, I cannot imagine a scenario where a LEO would want a death to occur under their control. In this case lethal force was not necessary nor was it used, but end result was a death of a restrained man anyway, albeit resisting while he was alert. High profile cases in most instances will never have an agreed consensus regardless, we'll never have thay perfect case that everyone agrees on. Black and white, left and right with a mix of nationalities and libertarians mixed in, we'll never all see eye to eye equally. Until that UFO parks overhead anyway
