I hunted this evening and saw my first buck of the season chasing a doe! He was a small spike and they ran within 10 yards of me. Of course it couldn't have been a shooter but still cool to watch! I am just wondering what is going on in your neck of the woods?

Had a smaller 4 point give a half-hearted chase on a doe last night, nothing too crazy. Lots of general activity in the picked corn field I'm hunting over but couldn't get anything to come closer than 50 yds. I'm not that good a shot with the bow. Not much moving tonight as the weather was getting crappy, and with the time change I only had about an hour to hunt before dark. I hat daylight savings time.
