i am going to keep an eye on criagslist for a decent used saw, but id really rather spend a few extra bucks instead of buying someone elses problem (if that is the case). I wont need a chainsaw often so i really cant justify a pro saw, if i could i would get the 261 and not look back. Think i am going to go with the ms 251 base model with no easy start or quick chain adjuster. I think that will be more saw than i need and at $329 it not to bad. I know most places sell them with an 18" bar and a 16" will do what i need so im hoping they will have a little wiggle room and/or throw in a few goodies such as an extra chain or two and a case. Wont hurt to ask when the time comes
I run a ms361.. I use to have 029s. The farm boss was heavy and not the most powerful. I really didn't have any real problems to speak of. It just wasn't big enough. We heat or house and shop with firewood, so we cut lots of wood in a year. The 361 weighs less and twice as powerful. I will buy another this year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
