Yes they are!! I have also found a chain called a loggers chain that has different angles on the teeth, there cheaper than name brand stihl chains and man do they throw some chips. Ill have to look at the box when I get home, cant remember the name. Spent 4 hours yesterday splitting some monster Oak logs I had cut earlier.
