    Is there public land the a can drop a trailer the for a weekend so I can hunt?

    Not sure about just being able to park and camp overnight. Call the local DNR to find out. Depending where, best bet might just be a county park campground. usually reasonable in price.

    Not a WI resident any more but I hunt Juneau, Lacrosse, and Sauk counties.

    How are the acorns in your areas? Our place in Adams county has almost none. White, black, red...doesn't matter. Last year it sounded like hail sometimes at night on the camper roof.

    Hunt on the border of Shawano and Waupaca county. Only got to hunt opening day but I did see 15+ deer. Couple of bucks including a decent 3 year old. Acorns are starting to fall, I actually had a couple does stick around by me and munch on them for close to 30 minutes.

    live in Milwaukee but hunt Portage/Waupaca border and Eau claire area. I have yet to get out in the stand yet for deer I have been trying to fill my bear tag every chance i get. Did pull chips last week from Portage land not many acorns dropping yet but lots of bucks out after 5pm on the cams

    Silver cliff Nicolette national forest is where I went camping opening weekend. You need a $12 camping sticker and your good to go
