My phone has lit up the last 3 days with texts of big bucks dropping. Its time to hit it hard. Vacation starts at 3:00 for me and I will promptly hit the woods tonight and as long as I can sit every day for the next 11. Here are a couple of the bigger ones Ive gotten

I'll be out before first light tomorrow, hoping for a better day than last sit. Been waiting for these posts.

Supposed to start a 6 day vacation Wednesday, but it's in jeopardy.

Its heating up fast. I have seen at least a small buck cruising and at least 1 lone fawn my last 3 sits. Those are very good signs the big boys will be cruising real soon (if they arent already)

I hope so, as long as the wind comes in from the ENE as forecast I'll have a perfect wind for my favorite stand. All this rain is an added bonus. It should help bring down a lot more leaves with the higher winds today and tonight, plus the added bonus of a quiet entrance.

I'm going to try to get in an hour early again, there's a lane I want to open up a bit more and I'm going to try 5 or 6 scent wicks with fresh estrous.

My hunting budy had a 6 pointer respond rather aggressively to some estrous last time we went out. He caught it all on video too.

This thread makes me very excited. I've had a couple calls that a big buck in Wisconsin and Iowa has been taken. One was an 18 pointer, don't remember if that was Iowa or Wisconsin. Sorry, no pics.

Last Saturday I saw a monster 8 in the parking lot of lithia springs at the south end of shelbyville. He was chasing a doe. And i almost crashed the truck when he tore across in front of me chasing a doe in the parking lot!! Definitely heading there this weekend

I sat all day yesterday and saw only 1 doe, and 0 bucks. it was warm and a little windy. I did however check my mock scrapes and everyone of them had various hoof prints in them. One being the size of my hand. (big fellow) in addition to my mock scrapes I discovered several more all around my stand that weren't there the last visit, 22nd when I encountered my (2) Target Bucks at 38 yards (bedded). The one is probably in the 130 to 140 mark, but the other (Ghost) is well over 150, maybe in the 170 range, and he is still there. Unfortunately, they didn't play nice yesterday.

My brother and sister in-law just moved to Bonner Springs. Nice town! I wonder if you know them? Casey and Robyn Self? She runs the young life program.
