Has anyone else noticed how a lot of these well known public land hunters gripe and negatively comment on how public land is increasingly crowded? Correct me if I'm wrong, but the increase of new hunters (especially out west) on public land is because of social media and YouTube. The guys who make a living in the hunting industry promote hunting on all formats, and want you to buy their gear/clothing and watch their social media pages. A lot of those same guys then gripe about YOU hunting where they hunt, pressuring the deer, and how they have to navigate around other guys.

I find it insulting. I can pay for your over priced gear and watch your content, but how dare I venture onto PUBLIC land.

Bad news- hunting is gaining in popularity. Fishing too- went for a photo shoot at one of my favorite trout streams. More people than I could shake two sticks at. Used to fish all day and be by myself. Good news- lots of revenue generated by sales of hunting equipment as firearms, licenses, etc. A lot of the hunting shows I see are on private land.

I do not watch people hunt, sorry it is a dirty industry based on vanity and the original "influencers" I can not stand influencers, their **** does not work on me.

I never noticed that with Hunting Public. They usually just move on.

Ok I am going to be brutally honest I do not like watching other people hunt, fish or have sex. That's right I do not watch porn, or horn porn, or fishing porn.

That's one reason why they have grown in popularity so quickly, just regular guys hunting.

That's why I like Randy Newberg too. I've watched a couple of his episodes where he states he's not gonna change the way he hunts just to get a kill shot on each show.

Absolutely do not watch or care to watch hunting video,s, Why on Gods earth would I watch somebody else do what I wish I was doing, Plus ad in 20 minutes of commercials in a half hour show, seems to me we complain of the new generations staring at their smart phones and computers all day and not living their lives, well ? What are you doing sitting on your ass watching somebody else hunt ! The last hunting show I saw was a dad taking his 10 year old son on his first hunt, Kid arrived at camp Friday night, kid went to bed, Kid was awakened, dad and kid ate breakfasr made by chef, Guide took kid and dad out to the elevated stand at dark, neither new where they were, just after first light dad said wake up son, The big buck is at the corn pile 30 yards away, kid wakes up, grabs rifle, aims for 5 minutes , shoots, next scene is kid with 12 point buck, Paid big buck hunt, kid doesn't even know what a deer turd looks like ! Wonder how long he will be a hunter ! BUT DADS SO PROUD ! This dad puked . keep ur hunting shows !
