Anyone ever give it a whirl? I have hear that putting out a red cedar post draws bucks to rub on it?

I had a buddy try it. He didn't have any luck....but then again there were lots of natural trees around...i would think it may work I'm an area without a lot of trees that a buck would normally rub on....i have seen a telephone pole rubbed so hard there were splinters on the ground

While a rub post can work, you may have more success by introducing a licking branch with scent. A rub post can be introduced but seems less likely that the deer take to it for some reason.
