Just curious if anyone has had the opportunity to use the Hybrid Pro? I'm highly considering one but I am unsure as I haven't been able to find to many reviews yet. I personally am looking at the Hybrid Pro single pin. I've been using HHA for the past few years and have been very pleased with HHA! I was originally gonna update to the HHA king pin lite but then I came across the CBE tek hybrid pro. It'll be going on the new setup and I've always been down to try new things. Questions: How accurate are the yard increments? How do you set up the sight tape? Pretty reliable? I've had one other single pin sight and it was no where near as accurate (for yardage wise) compared to my HHA, so kinda why I'm a little hesitant on the CBE.
I had the 2013 CBE tek hybrid. I believe since then the only changes thar where made were to the pins adding more fiber and different housing for the fibers. I have owned MGB, Spot Hoggs, Hha adjustable pins sights as well so I have something to compare them to. The CBE has the most solid and reliable drive of any sight I had, it has zero slop and is totally repeatable. It's also simple and easy to use. I would print my own tapes for the sight bases from a program then install them. However right now CBE has metal tapes which are very nice. I would build a templet with 4 references and then match that to the metal tape. They CBE I have owned was very reliable and solidly constructed.
At that time they came with a gage, that gave you a number for the tape to use. I think you sighted in at 30-60 ...what ever number your s60 mark was that would tell what tape to use. I don't know if they still have the same system. I never used it on flat plan movable sights like CBE and MGB. I always preferred to build my own template.
