Anyone tried it? I am very adverse to taking opioids but try to manage chronic pain with just alive does not always work. Read good things from people using CBD oil just curious if any have experience.

Only thing I can say is the stuff is strong. My sister tried it while she was dealing with cancer and couldn't handle feeling completely out of it. She said she would rather deal with her last days in pain and mentally involved than out of it and not aware of her surroundings. To be fair, I think she was trying a fairly high amount of it as well.

CBD is not supposed to have the intoxicating effect. It is legal to buy in all 50 states.

It's not an opioid, so you're good in that regard. It doesn't get a person stoned like smoking or eating marijuana does, but it can reduce anxiety and help with pain. When I was still working two jobs, CBD oil or candies really helped my aching back and feet, as well as reducing irritability.

It makes some users very sleepy, though. Even keeled folks, I imagine. I'm really intense and it just brings me down to a happy mood level.

Noy yet legal here in IL. Was following the legislature here last week, expecting firearm related bills, and they had a bill proposing the legalization of CBD oil. One legislator spoke in favor of the bill, stating that it shoupd be legalized for use because she has been using it regularly and it does work.

Amazes me how law makers have a total disregard for laws, yet want to implement them for their subjects while exempting themselves at the same time.

Anyhow, carry on. Was a bit off topic yet on topic

Sota, you ever thought you may have chronic inflammation that may be improved through diet or even a short burst of steroids? It seems even though I'm only 43, my bodies ability to manage the swelling from working out or just being older has been reduced. Ive been thinking of ways to improve my pain management through diet. Twp things on my list are to lose 15 lbs and improve my diet to reduce swelling.

No my hips are shot, I had braces on my legs as a kid did not walk till I was 3. Every thing wore at a slight angle and has lead to where I am at now. I really don't have time for hip replacement just yet or should say don't want to do it yet.

My wife just had hip replacement at age 49. Pain free now. Don't put it off, Sota. Seriously. She can't run anymore or do her dance classes but pain free is awesome.

My father in law had both hips done. Age 55 and then at age 58 I believe. He is much better off.

Good luck. I know it isn't easy.

That does not sound pleasant at all. If I work an office job and plan to do so in my future, will I need to worry about this stuff? What can I do to prevent my hips from going out?

Good luck. I hope the pain you're experiencing subsides!

CBD oil is well worth it and the best pain management this day IMO. My mother had RSD in her ankle and the doctors prescribed here Fentanyl for years (I HATE DOCTORS) until she nearly died from relapsing on it. After her experience she said she would never take another pill and had only been using natural remedies. The strength will always vary depending on how much you take and what mg you buy. The best thing about CBD is it can be using as a application or edible. CBD Kool-aid is the best!

Good luck! Anything is better than a pillbox!

The doctors prescribed her fentanyl? What the hell? Our big pharma doctor connection is out of control. I'm a cop and I guarantee you that if and when my body goes to hell, that this oil you guys are talking about and other natural remedies (think green plant) will be utilized when I retire.

Cbd oil is derived from cannabis plants. Basically the plant has thc and cbd oils inside it. Thc is the psychoactive oil that gives you the marijuana high. Cbd oils supposedly latch themselvesits to different receptors in your body to reduce inflammation and pain, without the high of thc.

But for whatever reason (see big pharma percocet and hydrocodone manufacturers) cbd oils are hard to come by in many states

Cool, I'll order some and give it a go. I get headaches pretty often and my parents both have a lot of arthritis, maybe it'll help. There are days I practically eat Advils.
