Caught Google Updating Satellite Images

    Opened Huntstand to look at the forecasted conditions for this weekend and the satellite image for the hunting land didn't look right. So I went to Google Maps and found out why. I caught them in the process of updating the area and the land is split between old image from (fall about 2 years ago) and new images from this summer.

    So that what that is. Ive seen this b4. Too bad we dont have real time big brother type images.

    I've been waiting for them to update my area. Then I noticed they did.... 800 yards West of where I hunt. :sad:

    They updated the maps of our place right after we bought it.

    We get frequent updates to my area. I wish they would start alternating between winter and summer instead of all summer pics. You have to go back to the 90s to see winter pics which allows you to see more terrain features rather then a huge tree canopy.

    satellites don't like working in the snow...
