What solid proof did the prosecution have in this case? Was a motive established? Any forensic evidence linking the mother to the crime? At the very least the woman is guilty of felony child neglect/abandonment. Can't they prove that her lack of reporting her daughter missing for 31 DAYS might have caused her child's death? In the very least this might work...
My one comfort as a Bible believer is that little girl is in Heaven .... happier than she could ever be down here ....
