Carrying your bow: 2 Questions

    I carry mine in. I'm usually packing the climber or a LW and sticks, so I have enough crap hanging off me and don't need a bow sling added to the mess.

    Once in the stand, I screw in a folding bow arm that is just above head height when I'm standing. That allows me to grab the bow without a lot of movement.

    Carry bow to stand....hang bow on E-Z hanger when I get to my tree

    Walking out in a.m. and in for a p.m. hunt I usually have an arrow knocked or at least both bow and arrow in hand. If I'm packing camera/climber in or walking in the dark I usually have my bow on my NAP Apache Bow sling. On stand my bow is typically hanging within an arms reach. I'll hold it on occasion but topically don't see any need to. rather be checking yardages, scanning with bins, checking weather, and etc.

    I have about a mile hike to my stand so first I put on my backpack then put my bow in a primos sling & throw it over the top. While in the stand my bow is on the hanger.
