I am not saying I will not try it, but I will also add Fiber is not a big Pharma product.

My stomach issues have nearly resolved with the high fat and protein diet. Works for me. Right now I'm just trying to find the right balance between burning fat and enjoying life with an occasional carb overload splash. Ran a couple miles this morning so didn't feel as bad after my youngest made me a couple of cinnamon rolls with my bacon and eggs. Ha

Anyone interested in this just buy a bunch of different types of meats, cheeses, and low carbs condiments. And just eat. Don't worry about portion size when you start. You may be shocked how fast weight starts dropping.

Asking for a friend, saying your 72oz of mixed drinks in and are hungry do you just fight it and go to bed or is it to late and just eat what you want?

I emailed my Dr at the Mayo Clinic about changing my diet to help with my symptoms, I got a rather stern reply. I am going to be part of a drug study I will do nothing to jeopardize my slot in that study.

I know you are joking but honestly if you got accepted to a study at Mayo you better not risk losing that

How does cheese fit in the equation? I mean I could cut out my bagel or English muffin, but I have a meat stick with a sharp cheddar stick and a mozzarella stick and a can of V8? That is my basic breakfast. I do not do a lot of bread but damn I love mashed potatoes.

There are different versions of carnavor, many start out with some cheese and heavy cream, lots of butter.
These ppl have figured out how to make mashed potatoes and make bread using chicken. They even sell chicken flour now

As long as you can tolerate it, cheese is fine

I ate a ton of cheese when I lost my weight, Summer sausage and pepper jack was a common meal.
then I started cutting down portion size, I got to where I'd eat 6 slices of Summer sausage and cheese for lunch, and the same for dinner.
eat a steak without sides, buffalo wings, hamburgers with cheese melted over it and no buns.
Ate a LOT of deer steaks

Great thing about this type of eating is when you go off the deep end and eat like crap for a couple days, you bounce back faster. You are never very far out of the ability to burn fat.

Just thought something I should have asked going in, does this diet require removing beer from your diet?

Nope. Unless you are drinking beer that involves several hundred grams of carbs.

If you choose to drink several high carb beers, even then you have an option. Limit your carbs bigtime throughout a maybe 20 hr window. Then if you drink some beer it is in a condensed time period. I've found that really helps control weight gain if ingesting big time carbs.
