Wrong again… carbs and sugars are an addiction… more addictive than cocaine they say …. And calories in calories out has been debunked… it’s all about hormones and insulin… look into it… or don’t… your choice .. plenty of thin people out there that are internally fat… Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Addicted to carbs and sugars, hormones and insulin. Not your fault you are fat. Ever hear junk in junk out? I do not know any fat people when asked how they got fat say I ate too many fruits and vegetables and drank too much water.
You are a prime example of what happens when you modify your diet and make healthy choices, being fat is a choice of what you eat and when.
And you are a prime example of someone who has to have the last word…. Probably have never struggled with your weight and in your mind, it’s because you are better than others… leave my thread alone now Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I am no endocrinologist nor a nutritionist. What I do know for sure is when you distill complex multifaceted subjects down to overly simplistic solutions and answers they tend to sound great but tell you knowing. Complicated problems tend to be complicated for complex reasons.
Not over simplistic to make changes and choices when adverse effects happen, it is like smoking you know it will kill you if you keep doing it.
Sorry obesity is not a disease, nor are people addicted to carbs and sugars. It is what you put in your body over time. A mindful decision like how long do I want to live. Zero excuses it is a choice. If a person eats 2000-2500 calories a day and does a moderate amount of exercise they will not be obese.
Simple solution put down the fork push away from the table, if you choose to not be obese and are dedicated you will be able to achieve a "normal" weight, medical jargon obesity is not cancer you do not catch the fat.
I do agree with you Sota, but remember Americans up to about the 80s everyone( no need to point out exceptions please )was tiny. Check out Woodstock pics everyone was stick thin. It's this processed crap they push on you and make it more expensive to be healthy. Before you know it bam you are fat. Then you realize ( god willing ) that with exactly what you stated works. Acknowledge your caloric budget and try to keep it balanced with exercise and God forbid put down the fork. Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
Let me explain it this way. You have a car that you need to refill. You pull in to the gas station at the pump you can choose diesel, regular, premium and E85, fuel choices and you make the correct choice choice and you will not have problems. Making bad choices is not a disease.
I will also say as a 57 year old man I go in every year for a full physical and blood work up. I know I sound like a know it all old man but we as we age need to be mindful of how our diet and blood chemistry dictate what we eat and drink. I know at 57 I wish I would have changed the oil more often. I am not pissing on your boots Tony I applaud the changes you made and the positive effects, my point was you realized you had to decide to make choices to change your situation.
Or excuses people can take control of over 75% of their life its is decisions and choices that make you a victim if that is your mentality, either you take control of your life or complain about what "happened" to your life.
No one is complaining… question for you, are you on any medications? Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
