    Anyone doing it?

Many of you may remember I fell 15’ off a tree stand and fractured my back in 4 places. I’ve had pain until about 3 days into the carnivore way of eating… lost 35 pounds in less than 2 months as well … my high/normal blood pressure is normal, all aches and pains are gone… my wife said I don’t even snore anymore…

    Anyone else?

Never fully committed to it, but toyed with it for a week or so some years ago. I've heard tins of good research on it along with plenty of anecdotal accounts and all were in line with what you are describing. I've also heard that the screaming commanche war sh!ts are fantastic at first.

BTW, glad you're all better and found a lifestyle diet that helps.

Other than oatmeal for breakfast and rice at dinner a couple time a week, I am pretty much meat and veggies. I can't go straight carnivore for the reason @Ridgerunner3 mentioned. I don't like feeling like my innards with become my outards every time I visit the bathroom.

I keep toying with the idea but haven't committed to it yet. I'm no nutrionist but I think cutting out the highly-processed carbs and sugars is the most important thing to losing weight and cutting down on inflammation and other medical issues that many people have. I think you can still have some foods outside of meat, so long as they are the "right" ones. I've documented my weight loss and fitness journey the last 7 months and it mirrors a lot of what you said happened with your carnivore diet. Increased energy levels, weight loss, muscle gain, aches and pains gone, and the list goes on. But I still eat a lot of carbs in the way of oats, veggies, fruits, and rice. Cutting out sugary drinks, fried food, fast food, and highly processed foods has done wonders for me.

With all that said, I will likely try carnivore-only at some point. Maybe I'll give it a whirl after hunting season and see how I feel. But I'm not doing it for life. No amount of feeling good is worth giving up pizza and the occasional DQ Blizzard for the rest of my days.

There is way more to it then what we’ve experienced so far… brain fog, cancers, IBS, the list goes on and on… look up Dr Barry, Anthony Chaffee … plants are not healthy and unnecessary… and I’m not saying that you can never have anything… but rarely .. you will notice things affecting you once you go carnivore and then have a cheat day… it’s amazing .. the FDA is in bed with Big Pharma… research it… it’s crazy

I'm technically allergic to beef..... so that might not be great for me
now I still eat beef because, I mean come on... right?

    Eosinophilic Esophagitis
known food allergies that create an EOE "attack"
    Wheat, milk, beef, shrimp

That's the thing you can still have pizza, "breads" and "ice cream". Mashed cauliflower made right is better than mash potatoes.
Spaghetti and tuna "noodle"casserole is great and you can't beat my lasagna. There's pics on here somewhere.
Cutting grain flours, sugars pasta really isn't that difficult just takes prep and a bit more time. Cutting out the bad oils isn't hard either.
Fruit was and still is the most difficult change ..thank heaven for berries those are low enough to have. It was fruit that was destroying my health. It was my addiction. In summer I could eat watermelon until I literally puke. It was crazy. Peaches, pears I spent half my adult life planting fruit trees. In fact I have a peach, plum, and apple tree to plant this weekend. Just for deer not me. Hubby too, he's still in the S.A.D. lane so for him and grandkids..

Watch Ketogenic woman...she is ketavor.mostly carnivore as of late. Her recipes are amazing Keto with Wendy is great too. She is nearly 70 years old and I wish I looked that good. They, her and husband go up and down but she has a bunch of great recipes You can also get discounts if you go through their sites to get certain staples . Getting the proper supplements and organ meats is very important. That and electrolytes. There's a guy , I think hunter and chef that is carnivore with crazy good recipes he makes
Chris cooking in Nashville is his station

I posted on my carnivore trip a couple years back. I lost 20# in a month w/o excercising that much. Lost I think 30# total in 2 months. And that was pretty much all the extra weight I had.

All my arthritis symptoms went away. Maybe even more important, my sinuses cleared up and I stopped snoring. That was a huge issue both for my personal health but also my marriage. Mrs. Noodles is a light sleeper as it is, and just plain mean AF when she doesn't get her sleep.

I've been mostly keto for about a month, (so far today only had chicken breasts lightly drizzled in honey, prime rib with a ham chef salad) and I am going full carni diet starting tomorrow through the end of deer season. I am sure there will be some deer camp beers in there, but as far as food goes it's all meat.

If you want to KILL, be a predator.

lol, that is true. Common misconception is that you get stopped up on an all meat diet. Completely the opposite, in my experience.

Chew skol and drink beer for years and years, your taste buds die so food is not so intoxicating it is like fueling up is all. Don't eat sweets and don't eat between meals or after 6, not so hard to not be fat.

I did it for 5 months and lost 115 pounds, it was incredible. I didn't need much sleep, and had plenty of energy.
Of course then my GF moved in and I gained it all back...

Nope sorry of you don't want to be fat don't eat like a fat azz. Seriously it is what you eat and when you eat it. You do not have to eat everything on your plate. 70% overweight, 70% have zero self control. There is zero excuse for being fat, if you are fat you are killing yourself. Think of it that way you are eating yourself to death on processed foods. Being fat is being undisciplined, and a couple month diet will not change that. Not ripping on the diet or anyone who is changing their diet, but America being fat is like blaming KIA for their cars being easy to steal.

So being fat is like a poor intercity young woman who falls down gets back up and is suddenly pregnant? No people are fat because they eat more calories than they burn. It takes effort and choices in what we eat, obesity is not a disease it is a choice.
