    So a former colleague asked if I'd be interested in working for him in the Asia Pacific region of our company. I know my wife may veto, however....

    New Zealand was my first choice as I like the diverse climate, geology and hunting prospects.

    IF NZ was not an option, what would be on/off your short list for Asia/Pacific and why...?

    Korea - Lots of history, great food, and great people.

    New Zealand would be choice #1, followed by Australia.

    Then maybe Japan or Thailand.

    The wife vetoed S Korea in 1996...it was a sweet opportunity-2year contract + housing, transportation allowances and private school costs for the kids.
