Im at deer camp with my son and we had to follow along online with our phones. I knew the cards had the bats and experience to come back but i was worn out so i layed down and my son would give updates periodically. I was only slightly surprised when he said they won and i went back to sleep. Hard to bet against them, but like last year, they are not what I would consider the team to beat. I echo your words. I was up and down from my couch all night. I watched the 9th inning pacing the floor. There is just no quit in that team. If Mike Matheny does not win coach of the year then something is wrong. I wonder if Pujols got to watch the game at home??
It was the most epict game I've ever wittnessed. I knew they could do it, but they sure weren't acting that way. However, Last nights Game 1 the 9th inning looked very simaler but in the Gaints favor. Luckily Motte pulled it off. Our manager needs to pull the trigger in releaf pitcher faster if you ask me. Friday nights game against the Nationals with Wainwright allowing to many hits then last night with Lynn. our Manager Matheny needs to have a guy warming up at the 2nd base hit if you ask me.
