carbon vs aluminum

    looking to buy some arrows this weekend....what are the differences between the carbon or aluminum ones?

    I like aluminum for the shear fact that they are easy to tell when they are damaged. Carbons, not so much. Aluminum are most likely just bent but carbon when damaged will splinter when shot! Thats never a good thing.
    I have on numerous occations taken a bent aluminum and cut it down so my nephews can use it for target shooting. Kids seem to always loose the arrows shooting at things they shouldnt.
