I pulled out a half dozen blue streaks that I had sitting on the shelf today and shot them to see if they shoot the same as my maxima reds. I have been shooting the reds since they first came out and have been pretty happy with them. However today I shot the blue streaks substantially better than the reds. All my practice was done at 60 yds today and I'm just wondering if anyone else has had similar experience?

Haven't tried the reds and probably won't this year. Currently shoot the blue streaks and plan to again this year. I shot the piledrivers before that and like the blue streaks better.

Not to steal your thread but I was going to post this question to Carbon Express red users and ask how smooth are those shafts? I'm asking because I shoot with a whisker biscuit and the new camo they put on so many arrows really makes a scrapping noise when I draw.

The paint seems to wear off fairly quickly at the ends of the red zones. I would say the blue streaks are smoother.

I shoot a combination of reds, blues and older 300's (before the dimpled shafts) and any two arrows will out perform my shooting ability at 40. Example: in one group I'll find a blue and an old 300 making that old arrow contact sound. in another group it will be a red a blue and and old 300 in a one inch group. The groupings are always fairly random, with no clear performance winner. All arrows were refletched with rt hand 3" vanes.

I can't see a target at 60 yards, so if the blues are working for you at 60, go for what you know.

They are the same straightness, I don't see why they would fly any better or worse. I have Blue Streak 250's right now and they group awesome.
