Found 6 of these today at Academy by work. These were not hanging on the rack, they were laying in the bottom of the cabinet. The guy said that the best selling heads get on the rack so what does this say for this head. I got 6 of them for right at $18 with tax included (on clearance). Will get a good look at them tonight. Hey, they will be good enough for hogs at least one time. They look really good to me but who knows. These are sold as 4 blade heads but I would call them 2 blade COC heads with bleeder blades. Hope they shoot out of my bow cause I needed some new muzzy's.

Also got a BH sharpener for $4 that I can keep in my pack. I need to spend some time on the edges of all the heads I have. Hopefully will be wackin' hogs this weekend.

I Love Carbon Express arrows but I am not impressed with their Broadheads.

I got them cheap enough but I really needed new Muzzy's. I am going to give them a try this weekend on hogs around the house. I figure they should be good for one poke at the very least. I was concerned about the tip curling but these look heavy enough. They fly pretty well, as good as my ST's and Muzzy's. This surprised me a little, figured I would need to tweak my bow to them but didn't have to change a thing. Looking for hog #3 with the new bow at lower DW and heavier arrow. It seems like I could kill a dozen a day and 35 more would show up, the destructive critters are tearing up my pastures. May have to brake out the hog lights and the AR's and invite some pig assassins to join me.

I've read several guys reviews of those BH's and they all said GOOD THINGS about them. Went as far as to call them a "Poor Man's Silver Flame." The design is similar to a Silver Flame (about $100 / 3) Broadhead except that "bleeder" blade you are referring to. The one guy who also had Silver Flames said they shot almost exactly the same out to 60yds, which was as far as he'd shot them, but he said they had similar point of impact to his FP's at that range. The design looks TOUGH, and they look pretty durable. Best of luck with them and let us know how they work out. If I wasn't stocked up on Slick Tricks (thanks Dan), I'd have considered trying a pack out, but I have enough Slick Tricks w/ Replacement blades to last me a few years..... :tu:

OK, These heads fly great and hit with my FP's out to 40yds which is my limit. They work very well and are durable. The edge holds up much better than ST's or Muzzy's. They make a nice hole, in and out, and these holes leak like a garden hose. I put the same arrow and BH through 2 hogs and I can probably get it through a few more. It is showing no sign of damage other than it has dulled a little. These were really sharp out of the package. I am impressed with these and will continue to use them.
