So, I my arms were twisted by great marketing to buy some new arrows this year. I decided to use the CX Red arrows.. they are really nice to shoot and look great on my bow so,... I got some.

HOWEVER, I shot my first deer of the season this evening and cant find her... I wonder why someone thought red colored arrows would be a good idea? It is really hard to determine the type of blood on the shaft at 10:30 at night with heavy frost.... Hmmm, maybe a different color would have been more wise.

It was smart, but the red was actually a marketing idea. Because when you watch the tv shows you look at arrows and aren't quite what ones they are. Then you see all red arrows and you instantly think of the carbon express reds. So yes it was painted red for marketing as well.
