Does anyone remove the bulldog nock collar from their Carbon Express arrows? Wondering is there would be any reason for not removing them?

I don't...I leave mine on. They weigh only 4 grains...so I didn't think it mattered too much on the weight issue. Not sure if thats what you was wondering about or not. I honestly don't think it would matter.

When I use my Nockturnals I leave them off as they pretty much fall off all the time when taking the arrow off the nock usually with the reg nocks they tend to stay on really its up to u they make no difference.

I really just don't like the shiny metal...not a performance issue.

CX puts them on there to protect the end of the shaft from splitting. I would leave them on. CX actually say do not remove them.

I have just left mine on. Guess it doesn't really matter either way.

I have left mine on. I doubt it would do anything if you take them off though.

I leave them on, but some have broke/got lost and I shoot those without them and it makes no difference.

I know mine have saved more than a few arrows from getting destroyed, so I leave them on. Remember - they're there for a reason. They protect the back of your shaft if it happens to get hit by another arrow.

I keep mine on when I shoot daily, but on my hunting setup I take them off and put on the nockturnals.
