I recently purchased a activated carbon clothing suit for early season, warm weather hunts. It does not have a water repellent, or a Gortex liner. My question is:

If I apply a wash in or spray on water repellent

    or

If I apply a a spray on bug repellent like Sawyers

Will this have a negative effect on the clothing's scent "reducing" capabilities?

Has there been any documentation or warnings from Scent Blocker/Lok advising against this?

    Thanks all for any input.
