I believe the mexican experiment is over for gold tip. I think they have moved back to the usa. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I also believe all easton shafts are made in the usa now. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
This is something thatgoes by preference. CX are good arrows as are Easton. I have heard good things about Bloodsport arrows as well.
Have been shooting Carbon Express for the last several years but decided to try to Easton FMJs earlier this year and fell in love with the accuracy as well as the penetration they give. Ive also shot the Beman ICS 400 and had great successs with them. As long as you have the correct spine and weight for your bow they all make great arrows.
That's good to know, thanks! I have always liked Goltips. I would like a heavier arrow than my Bloodlines so I will have to give them another look now.
I have 3 axis .340s waiting on me at my local shop when I get back from vacation. I really like the maxima reds but I'm going to start playing with more weight. My 425 grain .300 velocity pros may come back out too.
Put the 50-75 gr brass inserts in them for some great foc and extra weight. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
At 70 pounds, 28" arrow and dl, will the spine handle that? I'm pretty sure I would need to go to a .300 for that much FOC to tune properly.
You would have to be extremely borderline with spine for 75 gr to put you over the threshold of going to the next spine. The axis arrow is a really forgiving arrow for spine. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
I shoot 75gr brass inserts and 150 gr broadheads.:D but my arrows were on the stiff side. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
