I've been using the same beman carbon arrows for a few years now. How long can you use arrows before they "go bad"? I've had them re-fleched and put new nocs in.

it depends on how much you shoot them and at what kind of target. carbon is very, very sturdy but it "can" lose its spine. i would say two things. 1) if you can flex them and they are still free of all cracks and splits your ok. 2) if they still shoot like the day you got them, then your just fine. i just recently tried some aluminums and was extemely sceptical. they are heavier but i get great flight out of them. they will last forever unless you bend them. i am pretty nice to my arrows so that wond be a problem. hope this helps. i use to shoot gold tip xt hunters, and cabelas stalker extremes.
