Right now I'm using a whisker biscuit and it works pretty well, but I keep having to put new vanes on my arrows. I don't really want to go to a drop away but I'd like my vanes to last longer. Are the any other good full capture arrow rests out there that are better than the whisker biscuit?

I think Golden Key has a full capture rest that looks like a pretty cool idea. I havent ever heard any reviews on it though.

QAD Ultra HD is what I use. It's the best of both worlds, drop away and full containment.

I've been there, I wasn't crazy about going to a drop-away, but wanted to try something other than a whisker biscuit (not that I had any gripes with the WB, just wanted a change)...Long story short, I "bit the bullet" and went with the QAD and have never looked back. Put lots of arrows thru it and have never had any problems. Good luck in your quest.

I'm shooting a Hostage Pro and love it. No vane damage. There's also a new one coming on the market called the Tri-Van Vanishing Rest. The brushes pop out of the way much the way a camera lens works. Looks like a great concept.
