First and second pic is Captain Hook, got a lot of pics of good bucks but he’s the best so far. This is the first time he's showed up on trail cam in over a month. Third is a buck I’m calling Holly Wood because of his love for the camera. I have pics of this guy at all hours and every time the cam flashes he moves closer.
I'm excited. Pulled the camera out today and will stay out of there until I hunt that stand on the evening of opening day. Deer are using that area heavily and i want to keep my presence as minimal as possible. All my early season stands are set and now I just have to wait. Next few weeks will be spent clear of the bottoms where deer are hanging out now and up on the ridge tops finding those oaks that will rain for me in October.
