Can't whistle with mouth call

    After watching lots of videos the common them is learning to first whistle and then lower the tone...I can't seem to get the high pitched whistle..I can make a turkey sound it just really low pitched..any pointers on using this thing?

    I wouldnt say using a turkey mouth call is anything like whistling but more like clearing your throat while having your tongue pressed against the roof of your mouth. The tighter the call is to the roof of your mouth the higher and clearer pitch you will get, if you hold it loose then the sound will be scratchier and lower. If it doesn't tickle or scratch your throat you are doing it wrong.
