Can't use evercalm.

So in VA they banned the use of any scent that is extracted from live deer, including Herd stick from evercalm. I used it for years before they banned it and it was awesome. I used Deer Dander by Fitzgerald prior to that with good results. So i just ordered 2 bottles of Dander because it is synthetic. Anyone still using this?

 

I love deer dander, only thing I use religously every year.

 

I don't believe in many gimmicks and scents etc etc, but deer dander and evercalm I know work.

 

I am a fan of deer dander, but the past few years the bottles have leaked, BAD. I bought a 6oz spray bottle at Walmart and dumped it in it. Problem solved.
I'm probably in the minority, but I've never had one positive reaction to evercalm and had deer sniff where I applied it to a tree and start snorting. I've given up on it. My son gave me a stick of VS1 to try, I'm apprehensive about it from the evercalm experiences.

I use deer dander and evercalm only. I was a sucker for scents back in the day so i bought them all. Those two i actually saw “curiosity”results. I killed a doe that was sniffing my scent trail i walked in on

 

Evercalm has a synthetic version now too. If it doesn't work, I'm sure you can swap labels from the real stuff. Deer might tell the difference, but I doubt a warden will
