Started feeling a little "weird" Thursday afternoon. Just ignored it and worked through the day as normal. Woke up Friday morning and definitely noticed I was starting to catch something. Throat, chest, earache, sinuses, shakes etc... Ignored that as long as I could Friday and went to work. About 1:00 or so my body said no way tough guy go home. So I did. Pretty much slept the rest of the day and night. Woke up Saturday and I was dead to the world sick! The whole 9 yards. Soar throat, cough, sneeze, headache, sinus, sick to stomach, shakes, fever etc... I don't get sick very often, but when I do..... I do it BIG! I'm not one for laying around and doing nothing. But I decided to take Saturday off and do nothing but rest take medicine and try to get better. Barely moved from the bed. Sunday I woke up and was disappointed I felt the same exact way. Figured I'd feel a little better to start at least moving around. Nope. Laid around all day Sunday doing the same thing. Woke up this morning and this stupid thing will NOT go away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Won't even get slightly better. I simply can't stand laying around anymore. I have way too much to do. Feel like i'm 2 weeks behind on crap. All I've done is sleep, eat soup, gatorade, medicine etc... and I havent' got a bit better. I'm about to ignore it again and do what I have to do. Probably prolong me getting better but dang I can't take this anymore. I know there are people with bigger problems out there than this, but THIS SUCKS!!!!! I can't afford to be sick another day. Rant over. Sorry.
When I get sick I make sure I take all my vitamins and I also get a big thing of V8 and drink it. I don't know why but it seems to help out a ton.
