I have been doing research for the past few weeks on which camera will be the best. I am looking film some hunts along with fishing and other outdoor activities. Which one do you guys use and why did u choose it. I was looking at the tactacam, spy cam excel, and I am really sure about the go pro.

I take it you are looking for a POV camera and nothing else? I have a go pro and i really like it a lot. I have not used any other so i don't know about the others but i like the go pro because of the size, the amount of attachments for it, and the quality. But like i said i haven't used the others so I'm not sure about them. Depending on what type of filming you are wanting to do, you might look into some other cameras that aren't POV. When you hunt with a POV your video won't be all that great because you can't zoom and focus etc.

POV cameras are awesome in my opinion, but for certain things. I have also found my camera (I have a Contour Roam) works great for waterfowl. Using a POV solely for videotaping deer hunts, I think you will be disappointed unless you're using it for a second point of view.

    Love my Contour Roam btw.

I have a Sony Action Cam for POV. I just got it so I haven't had much time to test it out, but it has really good reviews and was only $130. Plus there's an iPhone app to control it from.
