I'm new to bowhunting and only been at it for a year now. My old sight got busted walking through thick brush last year, and I couldn't find any replacement pins. So I recently purchased the new Apex Bone Collector 4 pin. I put it on and cant get it sighted in, I have moved the pins down as low as they well go and its still shooting way low. I was wondering if I was gonna have to move my peep. Or if theres something I'm not doing right. Any suggestions would be great beings season starts september 21st!

You should be able to move the whole housing the pins are in. Try moving it down first. If you're still hitting low, you could try moving your peep.

BTW, your getting a late start sighting in your bow for opening day!!

If you can move the entire sight housing down, definitely do that first. Is your rest tuned properly? Are you field points and broadheads impacting at the same point? If your answer is yes to both questions then you'll have to move your peep. If your answer is no, then you'll probably need to tune your rest. You can move your rest up to make the arrows shoot higher and then fine tune your sight from there.

I kinda had a sneaky suspicion that I was gonna have to move the peep, I just didn't wanna have to retune my bow. And I dont have a press to move my peep. Can I change my nock point and raise my drop away rest up a bit?

dont really wanna do that if your bow is set up correctly. Was it shootin good with the last sight? Was it tuned by a shop? I would check your rest and make sure that it is set up properly. I am betting something moved. New site should not change the physical way the bow shoots.
