I dont know what week to take off for deer camp. Its either the 5th to the 14th or the 12th to the 21st, any suggestions? I need to be hunting on the 13th,its my b-day and this will be my 31st deer camp. Im always hunting on my b-day.

If it was me.... I would select 5- 14th. Charlie says the rutt is going to be late this year based on the rutting moon. Hard to say for sure. Waiting till the 12th to start your rut hunting here up north seems to late to me.

    Good luck.

Hey! My dad knows him I think. Yeah, he spend a couple years looking for him back in the 70's...

    I'd go later as well!

I'd have to say the 5th-14th as well, be rooting against myself if not. I just officially put in my request today, decided on Nov. 9th-14th. My work week consists of 4 10 hour days, so 3 day weekends will get me out there more,
just wanted a few weekdays off as well. Only had 30 hours remaining so I'll have to work one day that week, option remains to take it off as well.

I'll be in Morgan county on private land and/or Cass county public.

I think there will be alot more days of opportunity this season to close the deal on a bruiser, everything is already coming together, crops coming out early, leaves changing color, so we will have to see what happens, I just think alot of people have good feelings about this hunting season!
