Well...on at least one of my bows. I've been a limbdriver fan for the past couple years but I'm gonna keep it simple this year.

In case you're wondering why....I don't see anything that could go wrong while hunting with the WB. I used it for a few years before I really go into archery and now I'm going back to my roots. Sometimes you gotta K.I.S.S.

Anyone still use one of these "prehistoric" rests? :D

    I still do.

Of course I still shoot aluminum arrows too.

So you may want a cooler example.:(

I've had a biscuit on my bow for the last few years, it's tough to go wrong with 'em.

I follow the K.I.S.S. system pretty close, it's always worked for me:D

I think thats where I get into trouble....always gotta have the newest invention. LOL :D

I just found a deal on the fuse model WB. The guy lives near me so I'm gonna pick it up in the AM. Not sure if I'm sold on the looks quite yet but its a good deal at $30.

I shoot a w/b and have for the past five seasons and i love it, I will admit i shot very close shots on deer and a long shot is about 20 yards for me (just the way i set up my spots) but when it counts it's one less thing i have to worry about.

I ordered a new mathews z7 last thursday and my proshop guy asked what rest do you want and i said w/b he just looked at me and shook his head, i said back to him what? i am a hunter not a paper shooter.
    869.00 black on black z7 and a 50.00 w/b priceless.:D:D

I have used them since they came out and have found no reason to change. I love them.

Still shooting the TM HUnter prong style rest...so yes - I agree - confidence is key...and I can't get myself to switch...I approach all things in life with the KISS mentality...

(and of course - any dang rest will work fine for hunting:))

    Donnie:

GREAT rest....IF you're shooting arrows with a finish that isn't noisy, on the draw.

I've seen guys glue a VERY small strip of moleskin, where the arrow seats - to alleviate this problem. That was my only issue with this rest.

You know...I've heard this from quite a few people but I never experienced this while shooting my gold tips thru it. If I do encounter this....I'll do the moleskin trick. Thanks!

I understand where your coming from. I had my bow on my lap, (forgot my hanger) and was looking through my bino's and my elbow snapped the Limbdriver cable... ended that hunt early...lol.

I don't shoot one anymore, but IMO the wb is as accurate as you need it to be for any reasonable shot on a whitetail. Great hunting rest.

I aslo shoot a wb and love it but i have also read that they do a little damage to your vanes but i have shot through mine for 3 seasons with the same arrows and not had a problem. But if your worried about the vanes get a hostage rest. Just my opinion.:D

I used to shoot blazers when I shot a WB (few years back) and never had a problem! What vanes are you using ?

x2 cant beat them for hunting, very simple if I dropped my bow from the tree, and knocked it off I could have it zeroed in in two shots. The Blazers are needed for good flight and vane life though.

Last year indoors I went back to prongs, this year about 25% of the shooters on the line went back to prongs/lizard tongues. Just as accurate and simpler, and way less problems.

That thing looks like something out of a Star Wars movie.:D My original WB treats me fine. I wouldn't hunt with anything else.
