    Does anyone have a Canon Vixia HF20 that they film with? I found one near me for sale used for less then $500. I have a Canon GL2 now that I use but wouldn't mind upgrading to an HD cam..

    Depends on the model, I believe there is a HF...R,M,S and G series. They range from entry level HD to almost professional quality .

    Looks like my above statement might have been for canon camcorders after 2010, the model your looking at must be before that.
