I have been looking into the canon vixia r800 for a possible starter camera to self film. The reviews are great and the price cant be beat. I'm not wanting to sink a lot of money into it to get started and this camera seems like it would be a good starter with the ability to later add a microphone, different lenses, or a light. Any opinions or has anyone had experience with this camera?
The Vixia is probably the ultimate entry camera. I started with the 600 and they are very powerful for what you are paying.
