Just wondering how the battery holds up in the cold..does the battery last or does it loose power quick

I carry back up battery's but rarely have to change one out. Usually one full size battery on my HF-M41 will last the whole weekend but its drained.

 

I have a canon hf m30, which I believe uses the same battery. This weekend trout fishing up in pa it got down to 25 at night and the battery seemed to last as long as it should have. (and it's a off brand extended battery of eBay)

 

Thanks ...I used it this weekend and its a stock battery and I only got about 8 mins on it before it died but u also had the setting set at the highest video quality as well

Only 8 mins? My stock battery has been getting about an hour.

 

i got a canon hfm50 and he battery is alright. I can record up to almost 45 minutes or so on it but got an extra for back up and turkey hunting footage
