I have done a lot of research on what video camera to buy for hunting. A lot of people use canon i see and have been told by many people that the CANON VIXIA HF M50 is my best bet. Do any of yall use this camera or know anybody that use this camera. I wanna get some imput on this camera before i drop some cash on it. What do yall think??? Thanks
Yes canon is a great camera. It has a cinematic feel to it and high dynamic range. It also has a really good quality. I have a Canon Vixia Hf m 31 and I am selling it. I dont know if you would be interested but its being sold for $700 on the internet and I am wanting to sell it for $550. It works great no damage to it. It has image stabilization, flash memory and great picture quality for its price. Just message me back if you are interested. Thanks! Here is a link to look at the features for my camera: http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/suppo...h_definition_camcorders/vixia_hf_m31#Features
ill think about that offer.. when i decided to start filming i didnt know it would be this hard to pick a camera. i think im so worried i might pick a camera i dont like or buy the wrong one that its got me paranoid a little bit haha i know all the accessories i want to buy with it already. just gotta pick a camera now. any other camera yall would suggest?? and and all info is appreciated
I think as long as your spending over$500 you should like the camera to start out with. I may out grow it but then you'll really know what you want. Some serious camera out there for $1-3k but that's for a cameraman.
Same with Afflicted. Its best to start out with a smaller camera because you will learn so much and plus it has awesome quality. Thats what I did first and now I own a Sony Nx5 which is a professional camera and a canon 5d mark ii. I looked and researched for 2 or longer months for each of my equipment. I was worried I would make the wrong decision too haha but it all works out. The Canon Vixia is a great camera for anyone especially people wanting to start out. Still let me know if you are interested in my Vixia ha.
Yeah, I don't know the pricing but I think your M31 would be a great starter camera. It's really cool to be able to go home and re live the hunt yourself and with friends.
