A shot gun with buckshot 3" mag would be my choice kinda like Clint in unforgiven.

Well, I got my hand guard, grip, bipod and scope mounted. Still waiting for the drop in JP trigger and the suppressor will be another 9-10 months. DPMS LR-308, I went with the 16" barrel and a Gemtech HVT-QD suppressor. I already do not like the bipod, its light but it's not like I'm humping this thing any further than from the truck to the bench. 20200602_190945.jpg

I picked that one up for a reduced price, it was the display model and has a few scratches but that doesnt matter to me I'll end up putting a few more on it.

Yea surprisingly I was looking at stuff today and came across a lower for 98 bucks. So I'm putting a price list together now. I don't get super crazy with parts, pretty sure just about any factory rifle would shoot to what I'm capable of.

Well, fast forward 6 months, and I see that you are right. 300 blackout is a money sucker!

But I got my suppressor in today, super excited to ring some steel. I put a mag through it just now and it is super quiet!
Now I just need to find ammo that’s under $1 per round.

Man thats a beaut! I'd sell it, keep the suppressor, and start looking for an LR-308! I liked that honey badger SBR but when it comes to availability of ammo, brass and bullets, nothing beats a 308.

Yeah, a semi 308 is on the list. Not a great time to buy more guns though.
