This is the bow I bought from a pawn shop a few months ago. I have looked over it and could not find any identifying markings, and searching for it has been fruitless, both on bowtech's site, and elsewhere on the internet. Does anyone recognize it, or know where I need to look to find what it is?

Other than the visible bowtech label, the riser and limbs have "Bill Jordan Advantage Timber" wrote small in the camo pattern. This cam has the 28" mod installed.

Possibly a 2003 model. Cams are exact to my 03 Patriot.

Without knowing the axle to axle and brace height specs I'm gonna say it looks like a 2002 Extreme Solo to me.

    I think it's a Tech29, or Extreme Short Draw from 2001.

I still believe it's a 2002 Extreme Solo but will need to know the approx. axle length and brace height to see.

In this picture I also noticed string side of the cable doesn't wrap around all of the posts it should. It should also go around the round post (the one with the hole in it) before it attaches to the center post. Not having it wrap around it will effect the draw length, draw weight, axle length, brace height, let-off, and can cause damage to the string too.

If you can measure the length of the limbs and let us know it would help too.

Wow! thanks everyone for your quick reply, and good look BTS on the string around the post on the cam. I took a look at the string at that point, and where it goes around the last post, the green outer string is frayed, but the inner, core, threads are still in good shape. Is the string going to be okay? I can take it to the shop and have them set it right in their press (around the post) but wasn't looking to restring it until later (but before next season)

    Axle to axle = 33.5"
Brace height = 6" (I used the diagram on http://www.archery.org.au/scripts/cgiip.exe/WService=ASP0009/ccms.r?PageID=10495 to measure this, not a square)
Limbs = 14 " (total length), ~11.5" from end of riser
    The mod does say "DS3"

I've been studying the pattern of holes on my bow and in the pictures in the owner's manuals, and have seen nothing exactly like that. Does the pattern change between bows, even of the same model and year?

    Okay,

Knowing more about the specs here's what I'm thinking...

Back in the early days BowTech used to make up bows with left over parts.

This bow looks to be a 2001-2002 Extreme Short Draw with standard limb pockets from the 2000 model and a 2001-2002 Infinity Cam.

    I hope that helps...
