For those who don't know, Connecticut is one of only a handful of states where hunting on Sundays is illegal.

For many years we’ve been trying to pass a Sunday hunting bill through the legislature. Last year for the first time ever, it passed the house with overwhelming bipartisan support (109-17) just to run out of time for a vote in the senate because of delay tactics by the anti-hunting members of the senate.

This year we have way more support than other years and we have a chance to pass it.

We need all the help and support we can get. There are 2 ways to help. One is going to this website and sign the petition.

Petition SUPPORT FOR H.B 5080 AUTHORIZING BOW AND ARROW HUNTING ON PRIVATE PROPERTY ON SUNDAYS

In the comment box, enter your state and say that you would not consider hunting in a state where you can not hunt on Sundays.

If you are from Connecticut, just enter your name, last name and town in the comments box.

Even better, if you have facebook, go to :”SUNDAY HUNTING IN CONNECTICUT” and you can copy and paste the letter and send it to: [email protected]

You can just type a plain e-mail and say: I support H.B.5080 SUNDAY HUNTING
    and send it to:

    [email protected]

    THANKS

In Indiana Sundays are no problem. Seems like a stupid law to me. For me, being outdoors is about as close to God as you could be. Good luck with everything and if you're ever trying to hunt Indiana, let me know!

Done. That is a ridiculous law. I agree, being outdoors and hunting, is where I see god the most.

Done. Its crazy the average person works Mon-Fri so that would only leave him one day to hunt. I think I would go nuts.
