For the first time this morning, I left the house and felt a tinge of coolness in the air instead of stepping out into the heat. It sure did get me excited, I cant wait! Only 18 days for me here in GA!

It's still warm here and there are 39 days until opener but Fall will be here soon. I'm enjoying the anticipation while working on honing my skills. It's looking to be a great year.

I am in palm springs and have been here since thursday. I don't know how you guys put up with 110 degree weather all day. It is crazy hot out here. Good thing the beers are cold and the golf game is going good. I haven't had much remind me of hunting since I have been here but can't wait to get home and get started with broadhead tuning. I know I will have a little bit of work to do there. I leave Sept. 5th for my elk hunting trip so I have a whole lot of work to do in the next week and a half.
