Im new to bowhunting and am trying to get into it. Im about to purchase my first bow from a friend but he doesnt know the model of it. I have pictures i can post on here and hopefully someone knows what it is by looking at it.

We know it is a browning.
We think it is either an F5 Tornado or Mirage zx

If anyone knows otherwise or if it is one of these two please let me know.

    Thank you.

the quickest answer would be to take it to your local archery shop.

The main thing you need to know...will it FIT you properly. Looks like a decent setup, but if it is not a proper fit, doesn't matter what it is, or what you pay for it. Take the bow to a reputable shop, and have them fit you and go over it before you buy it. Good luck, and welcome to the sport!

thanks for the advise. i went to cabelas a few days ago to have them to find draw length. the problem with taking the bow somewhere is that its actually a couple hundred miles away where the kid is going to school. i was hoping to find out what it is so i could look up the specs of the bow and make sure it will adjust to fit me.
