I am considering buying some Arctic Shield boot covers for the late season this year. I currently hunt with LaCrosse 800 g insulated boots (not sure which model, they were new three years ago). I've searched here and on other forums and haven't found a definitive answer if they will work with rubber boots. I have read comments by some guys that say they are a waste of money with rubber boots, and others that say to use them no matter what. Any guys/gals on here that have experience with them on insulated rubber boots?
These are the ones I am considering: https://www.amazon.com/ArcticShield-Mens-Boot-Insulator/dp/B07JB3Q2XD?th=1
I bought a pair once but ordered them to small. You need to order a size or 2 larger than your boot size. Sent from my iPad using Bowhunting.com Forums
Buy the big ones, and I see no reason why they wouldn't work with rubber boots. They fit over my rubber boots just fine but I have not used them in the field together. If you drop hand warmers in the covers they will warm/insulate the rubber which is the primary issue with rubber boots. I will use them over rubber boots this weekend and try to remember to give a report.
